imho, anybody that even thinks they can solve the mideast is wacko. in capital letters. you have entire cultures rooted in hatred for each other. i would erect huge walls and tell them to fight it out. LOVE IS WONDERFUL but these cultures are rooted in hatred for each other. spend your time trying to help cultures that have a win-win mentality, not cultures built on beat-the-shit-outta-the-guy mentality.
Exquisitely phrased. It is indeed a watershed moment. It’s like 9/11, like Bataclan, like Charlie Hebdo. The one thing this has in common with events over thousands of years: it’s always, always, always the Jewish people who suffer. Yes, others suffer as well, but it is always the Jews. In Paris one only has to think of Dreyfus.
Que dire?
You have found the right words to express the indescribable. Thank you.
I loved Arielle Angel’s piece so much. Sending so much love.
What a strong, beautiful piece. Thank you.
Beautifully expressed. May we find a way, indeed. Hopefully out, but definitely through and unbroken. 🕊️

Thank you, Lindsay. Appreciate your eloquent and well measured words.
Especially the poem, which so expresses the pain and hope of different and difficult possibilities.
I will share that with friends.
