Oh how I love Paris movie theaters! There is little better than a mid-week matinee.
I would love to hear what you thought of Le Citta Pianura. I recently moved to Venice from Rome and have so much to learn about this new to me part of the country. It gave me new understanding and affection for the melancholic Veneto. I could watch it 10 more times.
Ciao Gillian! Just so you know, I watched it twice 😅
It’s a very melancholic Italian road movie. I haven’t seen something this authentic in years. The director, Sossai, is a pure talent. Glad you loved it!
We are retired and love going to the 9am showings at UCG Les Halles; tickets are discounted, few people are there, and no one is munching popcorn!
Also big shout out to the Forum des Images also in Les Halles…a unique collection of thousands digitized works plus creative programing.
I love going to the movies in Paris. But they’re serious about staying quiet! 🤫
A great guest essay-- I'm feeling inspired to try the UGC Illimité card!
Same! I don’t think I ever looked into what cinemas it covered beyond UGC / MK2!
