Four Paris food & wine favorites
That opened since the beginning of 2025 and didn't make The Eater Guide to Paris (but deserve to be in it)
Back in early November, I made the very last change to the Eater manuscript that I’d be able to make. I needed to remove a listing—the owners of a spot I had included had changed the establishment’s culinary focus. I wouldn’t have the time to try it before the book would be untouchable and sent to print. By that point, there were also a handful of new or on-the-horizon establishments with great potential that I knew I couldn’t include either. This is the tricky part about books! We have to cut ourselves off from tinkering at some point, of course, but the feeling of incompleteness gnaws at me all the same.
So with that, here are a few spots that opened since the beginning of this year and didn’t make the book due to timing but that I’ve loved and will keep recommending.
