Fewer smokers hogging the "terrasse" seats at cafés. Less smoke blown in my face all over Paris. As for the bike lanes, they can be quite terrifying for pedestrians crossing a lane where there's two-way bike traffic.
I had to Google on reading this to cure myself of a "cognitive dissonance". Surely the Dan Pearson I knew of as a Garden Designer who used to be on tv a lot at one time hadnt changed career and moved to Paris to be a pizza maker! No,they are two different people. I wonder if gardener Dan can make pizza or hot oven Dan knows his Rudbeckia from his Chaenomeles. But everybody can make pizza. It takes five minutes at most and costs about 2p.
Good thing for world wide business that most people don't know that.
I agree 100% with you and your friends on these observations. Lots that reverberated!
And now...Fewer vs less - it's not that hard. You and your friends are all intelligent enough to get it straight. No need to equivocate with parentheses:
This was so fun!
Less: "Pas possible!" More: "Oui, avec plaisir."

Such a great post. I love everyone’s perspective. Please, more Dan Pearson.
I agree with Sara, this was a fun format and romp!
I loved the several references to Less Complaining. Those made me chuckle. We are talking about France after all. 😜
So good! Thank you ❤️
I’m a bit selfish with this one, but more Amelia in Paris (I’m finally making the trip)! I’ll have to take your word for those ‘less’ wishes. 😉
Oui to it all!

This has got me thinking about London!
